"Bridget worked and trained as an artist for 15 years before commencing a Bachelor of Wine Science in 2019, marking her career change to winemaking. Since then and while still studying, she has immersed herself in the industry in her local regions of Victoria, and also in Tasmania, Burgundy and Alsace. In 2022, Bridget successfully launched her first vintage under her own label, Werkstatt. In 2024 she was awarded the Young Gun of Wine ‘Best New Act’ category and was featured in Max Allen’s top 20 wines of the year. In 2025 Bridget Joined Femier Cru, a new organisation that supports Femme/LGBTQIA+ people in winemaking and hospitality in a committee role. Her inaugural Gewürztraminer has just been listed in the Halliday Top 100 Wines of 2025.”
